RM6m allocation proof of government's concern for less fortunate

Musa signing on a plaque to mark the official opening of Taman Cahaya Complex for the Blind in Sungai Manila in Sandakan on Thursday. Looking on are Gum-Gum assemblyman Datuk Zakaria Edris and Libaran MP Datuk Jusli Ajirol (partially hidden).

The construction work of Kompleks Penyayang Taman Cahaya, Sandakan has finally completed! An allocation of RM6m for such construction has proven that the state government is truly concerned about the people.

Musa said there are still some improvements and developments that need to be done in Pekan Muhibbah to ensure the residents are receiving the best.

Continuous effort by the state government in upgrading the facilities for people in Sabah is truly remarkable.

  1. Kompleks Penyayang Taman Cahaya located at Rancangan Sungai Manila, Sandakan is the only center which provides skill training for the visually impaired people in Sabah, and gov allocation funds will help this organization to improve on the training of the impaired trainee.

  2. More visually impaired people can attend the training here in comfortable and much suitable facilities. Plus more professional trainer can be hired for this centre in the future.

"Musa said better facilities are in store for Libaran folks for the development of Pekan Muhibbah in Rancangan Sg Manila in Sandakan by the BN Government. A new mosque, SRK Agama and Kompleks Penyayang Taman Cahaya have been completed while the construction of 500 units of houses under the Housing Programme for People is in progress. He was speaking when officiating the new Kompleks Penyayang Taman Cahaya and a thanksgiving event for BN's victory in the 13th GE. Also present were Gum Gum Assemblyman Zakaria Edris, Libaran MP Juslie Ajirol and Sandakan Municipal Council President James Wong."
