Good news for civil servants

Civil servants in Sabah have the reason to smile this time. The implementation of the 1Malaysia Civil Servants Housing Programme (PPA1M) will take place next year, said Chief Secretary to the State Government Dr Ali Hamsa.

A site has been identified for such purposes. Both Federal and State governments have agreed on potential site in Tuaran, which is now being evaluated. They should be able to finalize within 6 months time.

The PPA1M in Sabah will adopt a similar model used in the pilot project in Putrajaya, although it is likely to be landed units. The homes are still quality homes though it more cheaper than the current market prices in Sabah.

As much as the government promoting more benefits for the civil servants, why don't provide the similar promotion to the private workers as well? Agree or disagree?
