Computer aid programmes to be expanded in rural schools

Siringan (centre) hands over the computers to Nasip (2nd from right), while Permanent Secretary Bruno Vun (right) and officials look on.

Newly appointed Resource Development and IT Minister Siringan Gubat has pledged that the state government will continue to expand the computer aid program to schools, especially those in rural areas.

More than 15 government aided primary and secondary schools in Sabah especially those in rural areas have benefited from the program. Hopefully, it can boost up the academic performance among students there.

Personally, I do hope not only computer aid been given but also in terms of financial assistance for the students in the rural areas since they are more exposed to danger. After all, I am thankful to the government for such a gift.
