He said that as at 3pm Thursday, the EC had received the writ of dissolution of the state assembly from all but three states - Selangor, Kelantan and Penang.
"I understand that Kelantan will hold its ceremony (to hand over the writ) at 11pm tonight, while Selangor started its ceremony at 2.30pm earlier.
"If everything goes according to the information we have gathered, all writs will be received by today though probably some will be late into the night," he said at a press conference after inspecting facilities at the newly opened EC media centre here.
