KUANTAN: Donations to independent Chinese schools will be given tax exemption, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
The Prime Minister made the announcement in his speech at a dinner hosted by the Kuantan Chinese community at a hotel here on Thursday.
He said the move to exempt tax on monetary contributions would help development for the schools.
