KOTA KINABALU: Community leaders have been told to explain to the people the policies and programmes implemented by government in order to tackle the opposition’s smear tactic during the run-up to the coming general election.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman who is also Sabah BN chief said the opposition had resorted to spreading lies because they have run out of ideas.
“The only thing they do is to instigate the people to go against the BN leaders.On our part, we have fulfilled our promises, we bring development for the interest of the people,” he told reporters after launching the “Community Care” programme organised by the National Unity and Integration Department and briefing on the Rukun Tetangga Act 2012 at the State Legislative Assembly building here yesterday.
Musa also said the BN government has development programmes and policies for all Malaysians as reflected in the National Budget 2013 presented by the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak recently.
The programmes included the Rukun Tetangga which is under the National Unity Department.
