TAWAU: United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation (Upko) president Tan Sri Bernard Dompok is optimistic the Barisan Nasional (BN) will continue to rule the country after the 13th General Election.

“This is because, the various policies, transformation programmes and initiatives undertaken by the BN government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, have been received well by the people,” he said.

He said the government had also managed to resolve issues affecting the population comprising different races such as the Kadazandusun, Malay, Chinese, Indian and others.

“Some of the issues had been addressed fully, partly or in the process of being resolved,” said Dompok, who is also plantation industries and commodities minister.
