Hinava? Let's try it out!







  I love fish and this is one of my favourites of all my entire life. I am sure, lots of people have came across the raw fish salad or called " Hinava " in Kadazan language. This is one of the special dishes served by Kadazan people during wedding, celebrations, harvest season and so forth. Tell you, it's worth to try it out!

How to do it?

Easy thing. The method is the same as doing sushi but of course without make it a roll. First thing first, you need to buy fish, particularly Tenggiri (the old folks say that this type of fish is the best fish ever to make Hinava), limes, ginger, onion, salt and etc. You don't need to cook it. Additional ingredients such as shrimp or squid can be blended together, to have that super yummy smell. Yum-0!
