SESB, once being critically blasted for causing severe power breakdowns and the power thieves issue, has become a new entity. Recently, the company has started its promotional campaigns through Facebook and Twitter, for better communication with the consumers and provide better service to them.

Through the social websites, the public can receive info or updates on the electricity breakdown cases, and these are the additional personalised communication channels from the existing hotline 15454 and text messaging through the number 33154.

Personally I think this is one of the good ways to improve themselves better in connecting with the people. As far as I concerned, it is really hard to call upon them when there is a sudden electricity breakdown and you have to keep waiting.

Bravo to SESB. Keep up the good work. What do you think they should do besides having the two social websites?
