Kudat folk all set for PM's visit

KUDAT: PREPARATIONS are running in full gear for the "Jelajah Janji Ditepati" (JJD) carnival, which will be held here this weekend.
The coastal town is busy with people sprucing up the streets and setting up tents at the main venue, the Kudat Stadium. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is expected to launch the carnival. Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman, accompanied by Tanjung Kapor assemblyman Datuk Teo Chee Kang, inspected the main venue and Istana Tun Mustapha yesterday.
Musa was also briefed by the Kudat Township Board representative, district officer Sebastian Lim, and Teo on the preparations for the two-day event.
"It is all systems go for the carnival and it will be a busy week for us here in the district," said Teo. "We are proud to host the event and the prime minister."
