Tawau: United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Organisation (Upko) will continue their struggle with Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 13th General Election as they still have faith in its fight.
Its President, Tan Sri Bernard Dompok Giluk said although Upko often takes risks by voicing various hot issues, BN has not restricted the party from voicing their opinion.
He said Upko's opinions are sincerely for the good of all people so that the 1Malaysia slogan can really be enjoyed together.
According to Dompok, the party's opinion and fight had already been heard by the top leadership, such as on the establishment of the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to investigate the extraordinary growth rate of Sabah population and others.
"This shows that we have 'pusas' ... we are not 'kampis barait' in BN, but now we have bigger 'wakid'. In addition, the BN government has given many facilities to the people of Sabah," he said, when officiating the Tawau Upko Convention at Kg Tass, here.
