MCMC plans to open internet learning centres in Sabah

TAWAU (Sept 23, 2012): The Sabah Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) director, Bukhari Yahya announced plans to open a number of internet learning centres in the state. 

He said the people, especially rural folk, would have easy access to internet and be guided on its use to advertise their products. 


"There are still many entrepreneurs, especially those in the rural areas, who lack the skills or don't know how to advertise their products on the internet," he said after presenting 1Malaysia laptops to the people of Kalabakan parliamentary constituency at the residence of Kalabakan assemblyman, Datuk Abdul Ghapur Salleh, here today. 

Meanwhile, Abdul Ghapur, who is also Kalabakan Umno chief, advised the people who had not received the laptops to be patient as it would be distributed in stages. 

He also said Kalabakan received the most laptops compared to other constituencies, with 800 units today. – Bernama

  2. Baguslah kalau SKMM cuba untuk membuka tempat pembelajaran internet dikawasan luar bandar. Usaha ini seharusnya perlu disokong dengan sebaiknya.

  3. perkara pertama yang perlu diambil perhatian di negeri ini ialah, capaian internet.. masih banyak kawasan yang tidak memiliki jaringan internet..
