Sabah Deputy CM Confident Putatan Folk With BN

PUTATAN (SABAH), Feb 28 (Bernama) -- Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yahya Hussin has expressed confidence that voters in Putatan will remain with the Barisan Nasional (BN) in the next general election.

The assemblyman for Petagas, one of the two state seats in the Putatan parliamentary constituency, said even the young voters in Putatan would favour the BN. Tanjong Aru is the other state seat within Putatan.

Yahya, who is Sabah Agriculture and Food Industry Minister, spoke at a meeting with about 1,000 young and first-time voters at his residence in Kuala Putatan II, yesterday.

The BN had brought much development to Putatan, including infrastructure, such as roads, and schools, he said.

Yahya advised the young voters not to fall prey to the sweet promises of the opposition political parties to garner their votes.

Lok Kawi-Papar road to be widened in stages: PM

PAPAR, Sabah: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today announced that the Lok Kawi-Papar road would be widened in stages.
He made the announcement after hearing grouses from residents in the area about traffic congestion along the 30km stretch of road between Lok Kawi and Papar town.
Hence, he called on the people, particularly those in this district, to continue supporting the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) government to ensure the continuity of such development efforts.
“I know you love me, but my name is not on the ballot paper.
“Therefore, please vote for BN. Ensure that you cross for BN (on the ballot paper),” he said at a gathering with Papar constituents, here, today.
Najib said various forms of aid such as the Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) and early schooling aid would be continued if the people again gave their mandate to BN.
He said these efforts proved that BN really helped the people and would do anything possible for their own well-being.
“We have given BR1M 1, then BR1M 2.0. If you choose BN, we will give BR1M 3, BR1M 4…..
“But we don’t do Bersih 1, Bersih 2.0 and Bersih 3.0 because we don’t do things that will waste the people’s time,” said Najib who also assured the people of Sabah that development efforts would go on in the state.
However, he hoped that those in the remote areas would be patient as development in these areas would be carried out in stages, considering their expanse and geography.
“Sabah requires huge costs for development to continue to be channelled to the people throughout the state.
“That is why BN needs a new mandate from the people to implement everything possible in their own interest,” he said.
Najib also expressed confidence that BN would retain the Papar parliamentary seat and its two state seats, Pantai Manis and Kawang, in the upcoming 13th general election.
He regarded the spirit shown by the 10,000-strong crowd at the event as extraordinary and believed that Sabah would continue to develop in tandem with mainstream development under BN’s administration. – Bernama

Sabah CM

Datuk Musa Aman is doing well in taking the responsible as Sabah CM. The people should be greatful to have someone like him. He never fails the people and his aim is especially to the people. This is something that we have to see and realize that without him, we would never be able to develop. Time goes by and the people change but never Datuk Musa. He will never change until his responsible as CM taken away by someone else. This gonna happen but we all don't know when exactly the time is. We have to be prepare but before that, our support should goes to Datuk Musa. We would never know whats gonna happen in the future. Either the situation is going to be better and better or the other way round. That is why some people says, appreciate things/people before its gone forever. Let us rise our hands and support our beloved CM.

Sabah doing great!

Sabah is doing great! Day by day, we are getting older and older. The more older we are the more experience we had. But different situation for Sabah. The more it being ruled by the recent government, the more development its experienced. Well we don't have to go far in finding development in Sabah. We can see that everywhere is now being developed. But there are some area are yet to be covered by them but at least we can see the development time by time. This is something that we need to realize, not only taking about the bad things about the government. We are born here so we must respect and give full support to them. It is not make sense to say that the government is not taking care of his people. All this while the government doing well and getting relevant for the future of the Sabahans. Thanks to the government and hope the effort to develop Sabah will never stop.
