There are many solutions to this problem and yet, every approach is not the same.
In general, land is considered as sacred to all Bumi people in Sabah. I have seen lots of political parties;
neither local nor national political parties are making headlines about this stuff. So how important is it!

We should fight and that is the best that we can do!
ReplyDeletePlease do something before the land issue dragging the other issue and creating a new issue.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the best course of action is to view all facts, pros and cons before making the final decision regarding this matter.
ReplyDeleteThis matter needs to be taken approach with care.
ReplyDeleteJust fight la as long as we still can fight:P
ReplyDeleteSelain itu, perjuangan rakyat juga perlukan sokongan rakyat bagi memastikan usaha yang dibuat berhasil.
ReplyDeletewe must fight to protect our rights.
ReplyDeleteThe mechanism to resolve the land issues might lie in the Native Land Tribunal. It could discuss issues related to Native land rights and come up with ways to resolve it.

Other than that, it seems that the Customary Land Titles that was allocated by the State Government to the natives can play a part in protecting the land owner's rights as long as it is operated with transparency, sincerity and free of corruption as mentioned in this Borneop Post article: http://www.theborneopost.com/2012/01/31/sabah-swak-cj-time-to-set-up-native-land-tribunal/
ReplyDeleteeven those who bring up this land issues especially from opposition side didn't have any the best solutions.. they are only playing with this issues for their political mileage..
ReplyDeletethe state govt already have their own solution for this matter.. and I think they need to implement Native Land Tribunal as soon as possible since this method already successfully been used in New Zealand..
ReplyDeleteThe solution will succeed if only the authorities carry out the work efficiently and high integrity.
